On August 25, 2017, the body of Steven Adrian Lacaire, a 69-year-old White male, was discovered in San Diego, California. Known to lead a transient lifestyle, Lacaire was found behind the public library in the Clairemont neighborhood. He was discovered unresponsive, prompting a concerned individual to place a 9-1-1 call. Emergency personnel arrived shortly thereafter, but it was too late; death was confirmed at the scene due to significant postmortem changes.
