On October 10, 2017, the quiet city of El Cajon, California, became the scene of a tragic incident involving a pedestrian. Michael Edward O'Rourke, a 60-year-old Caucasian male with no fixed address, was attempting to cross the northbound lanes of N. 2nd Street when he was struck by a vehicle traveling in the same direction.
