On November 8, 2019, the unclaimed body of Osborne Sheppard was discovered in the town of Leominster, Massachusetts. Sheppard, identified as an unclaimed person, had been a patient at UMass Memorial-Health Alliance Hospital, where he was receiving hospice care after being transported from MCI-Shirley.
