Gerald Robert Coates, a 58-year-old resident of Graham, Washington, was found deceased on November 17, 2016, at his home. The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office (PCMEO) took charge of the case under the agency case number 16-2082. It was determined that Coates had died of natural causes, and his body was subsequently identified and managed according to standard procedures.
