On January 3, 2017, the body of 84-year-old Dean A. Studeman was discovered at the Old Soldier's Home in Orting, Washington. The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office (PCMEO) was tasked with handling the case, referenced under Agency Case Number 17-0186. Mr. Studeman's death was determined to have resulted from natural causes, and, unfortunately, he did not appear to have any known family members to claim him.
