On November 26, 2017, the body of Thomas Victor Hyyti was discovered in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Despite efforts to locate his next of kin, authorities have been unable to reach any family members. The only documented next of kin, Larry W. Hyyti, remains unreachable, presenting challenges in closing this case satisfactorily. Further complicating matters, the decedent's father, Leo Victor Hyyti, is deceased, leaving no immediate family members to claim Thomas's remains.
