Ronald Oliver Tharpe, a 71-year-old male, passed away from natural causes on February 18, 2018, at the Franciscan Hospice House in Lakewood, Washington. Following his death, an extensive search was conducted to locate any surviving family members who could claim Ronald. Despite thorough efforts, no immediate family was initially found, leaving Ronald's remains unclaimed.
Due to the absence of family, Ronald was sent to a rotation funeral home where he was cremated. His cremains were subsequently returned to the custody of the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office (PCMEO). Despite the challenges in locating his family, a niece was eventually notified of Ronald's passing, but no family members have come forward to claim his remains to date.
