On August 19, 2022, the Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office in Washington came into custody of the unclaimed remains of Lonnie R. Volking. This 65-year-old man passed away from natural causes while receiving care at St. Clare Hospital, located in Lakewood, Washington. Despite efforts to trace any family or acquaintances who could assume responsibility for his remains, the Medical Examiner’s Office has not been successful.
