On September 7, 2015, the Pima County Medical Examiner's Office was notified of the discovery of a deceased male in a remote desert area near Why, Arizona. The individual was later identified through recent fingerprint analysis and a CODIS match as Noe Avendano-Martinez. Born in Mexico City, Avendano-Martinez had previously been incarcerated at the Eden Detention Center in Texas.
