On August 6, 1996, a male body identified as Alfred Henderson was discovered in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Emergency Medical Services were called to a local shelter for a welfare check, leading to the discovery of Henderson's remains. Although he was known to frequent the shelter, none of the staff or visitors were able to provide his name, suggesting he lived a solitary and low-profile existence.
Following the recovery of his body, fingerprints were resubmitted to the FBI for identification
