On May 2, 2026, the unclaimed individual identified as Melchor Carrillo-Catinar was discovered by bystanders in a non-responsive state at McArthur Park in Los Angeles, California. Promptly, at 0717 hours, he was admitted into PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital for urgent medical attention. Despite diligent efforts by the hospital staff, his condition did not improve, and he was declared deceased on May 4, 2026, at 1128 hours.
