On September 27, 2017, the body of a male, later identified as Tomas Dario Lopez, was discovered in Memphis, Tennessee. The corpse was found in a state of decomposition, complicating immediate identification efforts. To ascertain the identity of the deceased, fingerprint samples were submitted to the FBI, which led to a successful identification. Despite this breakthrough, as of November 18, 2017, authorities have been unable to locate or notify any next-of-kin regarding Mr. Lopez's death.
