In the early morning hours of August 8, 2025, an unidentified man later recorded under NamUs ID UCP152986 was found deceased outside the Los Angeles Mission in Los Angeles, California. The individual, identified as Daryl Lyons, had been seen the previous evening seated in his wheelchair in front of the building. A staff member who observed him on the night of August 7 noted that he remained in the same position the following morning, prompting concern and a call to emergency services.
