On August 19, 2024, a routine welfare check in Los Angeles, California, led to the discovery of an unresponsive individual identified as Larry Gordon. Acting on a request from the property manager, security personnel conducted the check at Mr. Gordon's residence. After knocking on the door three times and receiving no answer, security used a master key to enter the unit. Inside, they found Mr. Gordon unresponsive.
