On February 19, 2025, the body of an unidentified male, later recorded as Ramel Powel, was discovered in the Bronx, New York. Despite efforts to establish contact with relatives or identify next of kin, Ramel remains an unclaimed person. His case has since been officially registered with the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System under the ID UCP146122.
