On April 11, 2025, a man identified as Zae Chul Choe collapsed in the locker room of a wellness spa in Los Angeles, California. He had checked into the spa earlier that morning at approximately 9:15 AM. Emergency services were swiftly notified, and Los Angeles Fire Department Rescue Ambulance 61 responded to the scene. Lifesaving measures were performed for approximately 30 minutes. Despite the responders' efforts, Mr. Choe was pronounced dead at 11:34 AM.
