Soon Ja Park, an 83-year-old Korean woman, was discovered deceased in her Los Angeles apartment on January 28, 2025. Living alone, she had not been in contact with anyone for some time, prompting concerns that led authorities to conduct a welfare check. When police arrived, they found her unresponsive, and she was later confirmed to have passed away from natural causes.
