On June 6, 2023, at approximately 11:51 AM, a homeless woman was discovered on the front lawn of an apartment complex in Washington, District of Columbia. The discovery was made by the property manager during a routine morning inspection of the building. The woman, who has been identified as Gilma Yanira Romero-Rivas, remains an unclaimed person.
