Rena Carolanne Matthews, a 44-year-old black female, was found deceased on July 4, 2023, in Washington, D.C. Her unclaimed body was discovered following her last known appearance on the night of July 3, 2023. According to a friend, she had been allowed to stay overnight at his residence.
