On August 15, 2023, the body of Mahmoud Esmet Deif was discovered in Wahiawa, Hawaii. Mr. Deif was found lying prone on the floor of his residence, and upon further examination by authorities, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Currently, the Department of the Medical Examiner is leading efforts to identify and contact any next-of-kin for Mr. Deif, as he remains unclaimed.
