On August 20, 2023, the body of an unclaimed male, later identified as Michael Smith, was discovered in Fort Worth, Texas. Despite efforts to trace his relatives, authorities are still searching for Michael’s next of kin. This challenging task has fallen to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office, the agency responsible for handling such unclaimed person cases in the region. Their dedicated staff is working diligently to provide some resolution in the case of this unclaimed individual.
