On December 22, 2023, the unclaimed body of Malcolm S. Lytell, a male, was discovered in Branford, Connecticut. Before his death, Lytell had been residing in a hospice facility within the town. The circumstances leading to the discovery of his body are marked by the suddenness of his condition becoming unresponsive while in the care of the hospice. Despite subsequent efforts to locate any next of kin or individuals willing to claim him, Lytell remains unclaimed.
