On December 23, 2023, the body of Umo Akpabio Udoukpa was discovered unresponsive at her residence in Los Angeles, California. The discovery was made by the property manager, who had entered the home to repair a broken front door. Despite immediate emergency response, Udoukpa was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
