On December 26, 2023, the body of John Richard Brizzee, a resident of Fresno, California, was found unresponsive on a couch in the home he shared with his roommates. John had been living in this residence for over a year, and it was not uncommon for him to spend his evenings watching television in the living room, where he also slept.
