On January 4, 2024, the body of a 73-year-old man named William Edgar Funk Jr. was discovered at his residence in Spanaway, Washington. Despite efforts by the Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office, they have not been able to locate any family or friends who are willing or able to claim his remains.
