On January 14, 2024, the Inglewood community was confronted with the somber discovery of an unclaimed individual, identified as Jerry Ossie Ford. At approximately 7:45 in the morning, responding officers from the Inglewood Police Department conducted a welfare check at an apartment, prompted by the concern of the apartment manager for Jerry's well-being. Inside his bedroom, officers discovered Jerry unresponsive, an unfortunate signal of what was confirmed shortly thereafter.
