On February 1, 2024, the body of an individual identified as Melvin Scott Taylor was discovered at the Beverly Crest Motor Inn in El Paso, Texas. The motel manager found him during a routine welfare check. Unfortunately, no immediate family members or next of kin have been located to claim the remains, leaving the authorities with the task of identifying and notifying them.
