On December 15, 2011, the body of Vincent Dwayne Williams, an unclaimed male, was discovered in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Williams, who had previously experienced homelessness, had been a long-term resident at Crestview Nursing Home, where he lived as a ward of the state. This status indicated that he had no known family members to care for him or assist in managing his affairs. Despite his prolonged stay at the nursing home, no relatives or next of kin have come forward to claim his remains.
