On January 3, 2012, a male body was discovered near an underpass at the intersection of Decatur Street SE and Bell Street SE in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The decedent in this case has been identified as Eugene S. Thrasher but remains unclaimed. Despite the identification, no next of kin or family contacts have come forward to claim his remains, leaving the case unresolved.
