On May 3, 2024, at approximately 3:34 a.m., a distress call was made to 911 by a woman later identified as Moon Kim Doom. She reported experiencing shortness of breath and difficulty breathing, prompting an immediate response from the Los Angeles Fire Department. Emergency personnel arrived at her residence, where they found her lying unresponsive on the floor.
