On November 1, 2024, the lifeless body of Marion Pauline Keenan was discovered in her studio apartment in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles, California. The discovery was made during a welfare check prompted by concerns from a neighboring tenant who had noticed Keenan's absence for several days. Upon entering the apartment, staff found her lying unresponsive on the floor.
