On October 17, 2024, the remains of Roland Joseph Ives, identified by Namus ID UCP131942, were discovered in an apartment in Denver, Colorado. The discovery was made by apartment maintenance staff during a routine welfare check, and the case was subsequently taken on by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner. Despite their efforts, the office is still in search of Ives's next-of-kin to provide them with closure and fulfill the necessary legal and personal obligations.
