On October 17, 2024, the deceased individual, Frederick James Fortner, was discovered unresponsive in his home in Santa Cruz, California. Despite efforts to locate any next-of-kin, Mr. Fortner remains unclaimed. Currently, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office-Coroner Division is conducting an investigation to trace any relatives or individuals who may have been associated with him.
