On October 31, 2008, the body of 72-year-old George B. Cox was discovered at his residence in Mount Vernon, Washington. Authorities determined his death was due to natural causes. Despite the efforts of the Skagit County Coroner's Office, they have been unable to locate any family members or friends who could claim his remains. As a result, George B. Cox's cremains remain unclaimed, available for collection by any individual.
