On May 16, 2015, a tragic incident occurred near College Park, Georgia, involving an unidentified male pedestrian. The occurrence took place close to the intersection of Herschel Road and Roosevelt Highway, where a man was seen walking along the railroad tracks. The engineer of a passing CSX train noticed the man's perilous position and sounded the train whistle continuously in an effort to warn him.
