On January 17, 2022, the body of David Channy Say was discovered in his room at the Gospel Mission in Stockton, California. A co-worker at the facility found David unresponsive, leading to the involvement of the San Joaquin County Medical Examiner. David, who worked and resided at the mission, showed no obvious signs of foul play, prompting authorities to initially rule out suspicious circumstances surrounding his passing.
