On May 22, 2022, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department - Coroner Division was notified of the passing of a woman identified as Carmen June Matson. Her body was discovered in Redlands, California, following her death as a hospital inpatient. Despite the circumstances surrounding her passing, efforts to locate and inform next of kin have thus far been unsuccessful, resulting in her status as an unclaimed person.
