On June 15, 2023, the body of Donald Elmer Elliott was discovered within his residence in Honolulu, Hawaii. Elliott, whose identity was confirmed posthumously, had passed away without any apparent consideration from family or next of kin, leading to a challenging unclaimed persons case. Efforts to locate relatives or anyone else able to make decisions on behalf of the deceased have been ongoing since the discovery, but as of yet, no connections have been established.
