On February 25, 2018, a male body was discovered in Honolulu, Hawaii, leading to the opening of an unclaimed person case. The decedent was identified under Namus ID: UCP68791 as Oscar Baktiar. Prior to his death, Baktiar was believed to be homeless, seeking shelter and care at a hospice facility. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of the medical personnel, he was later declared deceased at the facility.
