On November 13, 2023, the unclaimed remains of 61-year-old Anthony Charles Carmichael were discovered in his Tacoma, Washington residence during a welfare check conducted by law enforcement. Responding officers found Carmichael unresponsive, ultimately necessitating the involvement of the Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office.
