In early January 2006, the body of a female was discovered in Houston, Texas, setting into motion an investigation led by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The woman, later identified as Barbara Jean Angus, was found on January 3, 2006. At the time of discovery, her body exhibited signs of moderate decomposition, suggesting she may have been deceased for a short period before being located.
