On April 9, 2012, the body of John Arthur Schulz was discovered in his residence in Dallas, Texas. The discovery was made by a maintenance person who entered the apartment following concerns raised by neighbors about a foul odor emanating from the premises. Upon entering the residence, it was apparent that Schulz had passed away while in bed, with no immediate evidence or signs of trauma or foul play noted in the initial observations.
