On November 26, 2017, the body of Willie Reese, a male, was found and later identified as unclaimed in Loma Linda, California. His remains came to light following his passing as an inpatient at the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center. Despite the documentation and efforts to trace any next of kin or responsible parties, his case remains unresolved in terms of finding someone to claim his body and take responsibility for final arrangements.
