On January 30, 2022, Arthur Chance, an unclaimed person, was discovered unresponsive in his bed at his residence in Boston, Massachusetts. His body was found without any immediately apparent cause of death, prompting an investigation led by the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Despite efforts to identify and contact next of kin, Mr. Chance’s remains have yet to be claimed, leaving this case unresolved more than a year later.
