On June 28, 2022, the body of Isidro Manuel Diaz-Castillo was discovered in Brackettville, Texas. The recovery took place on the Davidson/Smythe Ranch, a site located approximately 12 miles south of RR 1572 and near Anacacho Lane, specifically within the dry bed of Elm Creek.
