On July 10, 2022, the body of an unidentified male, later named as John Lawrence Mitchell, was found in Reno, Nevada. The circumstances surrounding his discovery led to an investigation handled by the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner's Office, where efforts to identify and connect Mr. Mitchell with any living relatives or acquaintances have so far been unsuccessful. His body was located at Renown Regional Medical Center, a well-known healthcare facility in Reno.
