In the small community of Adamsville, Alabama, the body of Gary Wayne Gwin, a male resident, was discovered on November 25, 2022. Concerned neighbors, who had not seen Mr. Gwin in several days, performed a welfare check which led to the unfortunate discovery. The Jefferson County Medical Examiners Office, located at 1515 Sixth Avenue South in Birmingham, was tasked with handling the investigation.
