On March 2, 2015, the lifeless body of Gerry M. Mitchell was discovered in a room at an adult foster care home in Vancouver, Washington. Despite efforts to trace his family connections, Gerry Mitchell left no known next of kin. His passing, noted with great solemnity, raised questions about the life he led, largely unseen and unaccompanied by familiar faces in his final moments.
