In an ongoing case of an unclaimed person, the remains of Leonard E. McFarland were discovered on February 13, 2016, in Loma Linda, California. He passed away while being treated as a patient at the Loma Linda University Medical Center. Records indicate that McFarland was a transient at the time of his death. Though discovered several years ago, the circumstances surrounding McFarland's life and death continue to elicit questions, as he has yet to be claimed.
