In the summer of 2022, on July 30th, 48-year-old Tyrone K. Roseburrow was found lying on a sidewalk in the 4400 block of Forest Park Avenue in the Central West End of St. Louis, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department has been investigating the shooting and has asked for the public's help in identifying a vehicle of interest.
The vehicle is described as a newer model, royal blue, 4-door Chevrolet Equinox. It was reported to have been driven by a man with another man in the passenger seat. Authorities have stated that the men should be considered armed and dangerous.
At the time of his death, Roseburrow was entangled in a serious legal matter. He was awaiting a September jury trial for a pending charge of first-degree child endangerment that resulted in the death of his 18-month-old nephew, Brandon Holt, in November 2019. The toddler's cause of death was determined to be acute fentanyl intoxication. According to court documents, Roseburrow was identified as the only user of fentanyl and heroin in the residence where his nephew began to act strangely before he died. During the investigation into the child's death, a significant amount of drug paraphernalia associated with heroin and fentanyl was discovered in Roseburrow's room. He was being held on a $250,000 cash-only bond in relation to his nephew's death.
